"BE BOLD. TREAD LIGHTLY. MAKE IT HAPPEN. Building a new cider company from the ground up with a vision for hard cider to regain its rightful place as the #1 alcoholic beverage in America—that's bold. Using reclaimed materials in our new construction, giving apple pomace left after juicing to a local pig farmer, and raising money for the Rockfish Valley Foundation are some of the ways that we tread lightly. Bold Rock can now be found in Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Tennessee, West Virginia, Washington, D.C., North Carolina, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania. We partner with our wonderful distributors and great retailers to make it happen."
Devils Backbone Brewing Company
"Every adventure begins with the question, "Where are we going?" When you backpack into the hills, don't you look to see where your destination is? We hope so! And, it's highly likely, that a compass will get you to where ever your next adventure awaits. Our mission at Devils Backbone is to enrich our community by enhancing back porches, campfires, dinner tables, hiking summits, fishing boats, beach chairs, pig roasts, tailgates, crab feasts, ball games, ski lodges, strummin' sessions, and anywhere else you find yourself enjoying life."
Diamondback Brewing Company
"Longtime friends Tom, Francis, and Colin founded Diamondback Brewing Company in 2013, with production starting in late 2014. From their first batch at the University of Maryland to their current production level, they have always strived to create unforgettable beer that everyone can enjoy.
Their roots run deep in Maryland and they aim to grow locally and capitalize on the relationships they have developed for years. Our company and our brands celebrate the state we call home, while offering a fresh take on even the most classic beer styles. As Baltimore natives, they know the dynamic local market offers a great home for their hand crafted ales."
Fordham & Dominion Brewing Co.
"Fordham & Dominion joined forces in 2007 and consolidated operations in 2009. The First State is now home to the Fordham & Dominion Brewing Co., where beer lovers from near and far are able to stop by, get to know us, and enjoy our handcrafted beer and soda. Our roots run deep throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and we remain dedicated to our craft. Throughout our history, we have always believed in two things: the beers we make and the people who drink them."
Prince Frederick, Maryland
"The home of award winning southern Maryland craft-brewed beer. A family-run business where five beers are offered year round with a few seasonal and specialty beers. Stop in to view the facility, tour the brewery, sample some beers, and learn more about the art of making great beer!"
Starr Hill Brewery
"In the mid-90's, Master Brewer Mark Thompson returned to his native Virginia from Portland, Oregon, having learned two things: First, that the craft of artisanal brewing was one part science and one part art; and second, that making delicious beer was a lot cooler than anything he had ever done as a biology student. After several years of apprenticing with other master brewers, Mark was ready to begin crafting beer using his own recipes."
Victory Brewery Company
"Victory Brewing Company opened its doors to the public on February 15, 1996. What was once a Pepperidge Farm factory became home to a 144-seat restaurant, 70-foot-long bar, and a full-scale brewery. In its first year, Victory Brewing Company brewed 1,725 barrels of beer. Since then, Victory has increased the size of the restaurant to 300 seats. The brewery has also expanded, producing 125,713 barrels of beer in 2014. As loyal craft beer drinkers continue to show their dedication to flavorful, quality beer, Victory plans to continue its own growth. Onward to Victory!"
