Baltimore Oyster Gardening

CBF will host two oyster gardening workshops in Baltimore this fall. We are growing the program and need 70 gardeners at two locations. Gardeners care for two cages of oysters each over the winter and then "plant" them on the Fort Carroll oyster reef in the spring. You don't need to have or live near a dock—the workshop sites serve as the over-wintering gardening sites.

A fee of $25 per gardener includes two cages with oysters and materials.

Space is limited, so we will be accepting gardeners on a first-come, first-served basis with a waiting list. If the event you wish to register for is full, please send an e-mail to tcummings@cbf.org to be added to the waiting list. Please make sure to specify which date you wish to attend.
