Oyster gardeners will care for two cages of oysters each over the winter and then join CBF to "plant" them on the Fort Carroll reef in the spring. You do not have to live on the water or have access to a dock—the workshop sites will also serve as the over-wintering gardening sites.

A fee of $50 per gardener includes two cages with oysters, materials, a t-shirt and hat, gloves, and a cleaning brush. Space is limited, so we will be accepting gardeners on a first-come, first-served basis with a waiting list.

If the event you wish to register for is full, please send an e-mail to tcummings@cbf.org to be added to the waiting list. Please make sure to specify which date you wish to attend.
