As many of our cherished autumn events and gatherings continue to face cancellation, CBF supporters are using BayRaiser to stay connected with loved ones—all while helping to save the Bay! BayRaisers can host a virtual or socially distant event with friends or family to benefit CBF and support critical restoration work
Check out some of the amazing recent BayRaisers.
The Traveling BayRaiser
When Madeleine’s Youtube channel, RiggingDoctor, hit 20K subscribers, she and her partner decided to host a BayRaiser to help support the body of water they call home while traveling the world by boat.
A Plastic Pickup Pledge
Jen and her team have pledged to spend 10 minutes outside picking up plastic for every $10 donation made to their BayRaiser page. Visit their page to support them!
How Art Can Save the Bay
Terzo Piano, a D.C.-based gallery, is presenting its first solo exhibition of paintings by Russell Katz. In lieu of payment for the show catalogue, they are asking for donations to support CBF’s mission.
So, what will you plan? A socially distanced oyster roast, an outdoor Oktoberfest, or maybe even a virtual Bay-themed Halloween costume contest?
Becoming a BayRaiser is easy—and free!
- Register as a BayRaiser and set up your own personal fundraising page.
- Dream up a fundraising idea and set your goal.
- Share your story and passion for clean water on social media, email, and text.
No level of participation is too big or too small. $35 is enough to grow 3,500 native oysters, and each adult oyster can filter up to 50 gallons of water a day. Imagine what your BayRaiser could do!
Plus, every BayRaiser who raises $150 or more will receive a complimentary BayRaiser t-shirt!
