Morgan Jones

Islands Field Senior Manager

Morgan Jones was born and raised in Huntingtown, Maryland. She grew up on a farm on the shores of the Chesapeake Bay and spent much of her time swimming, crabbing, and fishing. Attending Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida, Morgan earned a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies and Spanish with a minor in Anthropology.

She now works for the Chesapeake Bay Foundation as their Islands Field Senior Manager. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, playing volleyball, hiking, reading, and writing. Her favorite spot on the Bay is Sharps Island Lighthouse, especially taking a boat out to it in the summer.
