Shopping and Saving the Bay at Whole Foods Market
America's Healthiest Grocery Store™ is doing its part to help improve the health of waterways in Hampton Roads. On Wednesday, May 22, Whole Foods Market in Virginia Beach, located at 1800 Laskin Road in the Hilltop area, will be donating five percent of net sales that day to support the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.

CBF is grateful to have been selected as Whole Foods Market's local partner for the May 22 community giving day. Funds raised will be used to support CBF's efforts to create the Brock Environmental Center and protect and preserve Pleasure House Point. When completed, CBF's Brock Environmental Center will be an innovative environmental education and community outreach center in Virginia Beach, and the "greenest" facility in Virginia!
Whole Foods Market stores across the country host community giving days several times a year to support a variety of community-based nonprofits and educational organizations. These "Five Percent Days" are a small part of Whole Foods' larger commitment to caring for the environment, sustainability, and the communities in which they operate.
So, what are your plans for May 22? We hope you'll come to the Virginia Beach Whole Foods Market and do some shopping for a great cause. CBF will be onsite with information about our programs and with some fun giveaway items, too.
We look forward to seeing you there!
