U.S. Green Ribbon Schools
The U.S. Department of Education has recognized seven schools in the Bay watershed as U.S. Green Ribbon Schools. Thaddeus Stevens Elementary School in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, has outlined their efforts here so that other schools can follow their lead.

FieldScope UpdateCBF and National Geographic have been partners throughout the development stages of FieldScope, an online mapping tool specifically for the Chesapeake region. To access this unique tool for their classrooms, teachers should now use Chesapeake.fieldscope.org.
