Bay Foundation's Stephanie Eisenbise Will be Guest on "Good Day PA"

(HARRISBURG, PA)—The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) will be a guest on abc27 TV’s "Good Day PA" on Thursday, January 9th at 12:30.

Stephanie Eisenbise, CBF’s Pennsylvania Watershed Restoration Manager will join Amy Kehm, Producer and Host of "Good Day PA" to talk about Pennsylvania clean water efforts and ways we can all help improve local streams and rivers.

Polluted runoff generally originates from urban and suburban areas. As rainwater flows across hard surfaces, such as parking lots, roadways, rooftops, and even our manicured grass lawns, it can pick up and carry with it a mixture of potentially toxic pollutants.

In keeping with the excitement that surrounds the 2014 PA Farm Show, Eisenbise will spotlight clean water successes happening on Pennsylvania farms and CBF's indoor stream exhibit at the Pennsylvania Farm Show. She also hopes to share ways that viewers can help out by volunteering to plant trees, and things homeowners can do to help reduce pollution.

"Good Day PA" is a daily half-hour lifestyle program that follows 'abc27 News at Noon' weekdays at 12:30 p.m. Check out http://www.abc27.com/ to learn more, and check out cbf.org to learn more about the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and our clean water efforts in Pennsylvania and throughout the region.
