Volunteers participate in the 24th Annual Clean the Bay Day.
Our Clean the Bay Day Heroes!
Earlier this month, close to 6,800 volunteers came out for our 24th Annual Clean the Bay Day! The dedicated volunteers removed more than 150,000 pounds of litter and debris along roughly 500 miles of Virginia shoreline. Woohoo! Check out our photos on Facebook from this fantastic event.

Building our Clean Water Blueprint Army  
CBF's Virginia Executive Director Ann Jennings introduces two new staff members who will rally the troops in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley and Eastern Shore regions all in the name of Bay restoration. We're Halfway There!
From fencing their cattle out of rivers to building streamside buffers, these Virginia farmers are implementing Best Management Practices that not only restore the health of our waters, but also improve farm health and productivity. Read on to learn how these conservation practices have already brought us halfway to achieving the nutrient reductions needed to restore the Bay and our waters.
