Please note this program is only available in the Hampton Roads/Eastern Shore area of Virginia
Are you looking for a speaker who can answer questions about the current State of the Bay? The Chesapeake Bay Foundation’s Speaker’s Bureau program provides representatives who present to community groups concerned about the health of the Bay. These presentations include non-partisan information focused on water-quality issues involving the Bay and its rivers and streams.
This is a complimentary service featuring visual presentations, answering questions, and supplying materials for further reading. The groups we speak with include garden clubs, civic associations, and community organizations. If you are interested in a special topic beyond the State of the Bay, please note your interest in the form below.
Your organization will:
- Learn about the current state of the Bay and the forecast for its future.
- Hear the latest updates on policies and legislation that will impact our lands, waterways and the critters that call the Bay home.
- Find out more about CBF's programs and how to become involved.
Please complete the Speakers Bureau Request Form and a staff member will be in touch to confirm the availability of a speaker. We require at least 10 attendees for events, and prefer 4-6 weeks advance notice for requests.
