Thousands of volunteers came out across Virginia for the 31st annual #CleanTheBayDay—thank you all! Preliminary numbers show that in just three hours, and under heavy rain in some cases, approximately 3,500 volunteers gathered at nearly 200 sites across Virginia, and by hand or in boats, removed an estimated 45,000 pounds of litter and debris over an estimated 250 miles of shoreline. Thank you all for joining us and joining us in dedicating part of your day to the victims of the Virginia Beach shooting. The 4th Annual Floatilla was a success! 🦀 🛶 What a beautiful sight to see - hundreds of paddlers rallying for clean water. Together, we can work towards a swimmable, fishable Baltimore Harbor! This weekend, our crew went out with the @chesapeakebayfoundation to release our oyster teens onto the oyster reef near Fort Carroll, just outside the Key Bridge. What an AWESOME program! Thanks for having us!

As fun as changing the background scenery is working remote 💻, part of embracing this lifestyle was to get out more. 🌲 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Lately we’ve not balanced it well. ⚖️ Between playing work catch-up from the Airstreams tight reno timeline to one of us starting a new job last month... well we’ve been heavy on the work light on the life. 😕 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It’s a sunny ☀️ day here in Irvington, VA. We’ve got a waterfront home, SUP, and kayak at our disposal. Add one water loving pup and that’s a lunch break well spent! After growing them in our creek for a year, today I delivered about 1,000 oysters to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation. They deposit the oysters on a reef where they go to work cleaning the Bay. One adult oyster filters 50 gallons of water a day! @chesapeakebay #SavetheBay pic.twitter.com/5tG9fEvcbD
