For 50 years, CBF has partnered with leaders nationally, regionally, and locally in our communities in our work to save the Bay. We are celebrating that 50-year milestone by inviting student leaders from across the watershed to share their vision for the next 50 years of Bay advocacy and restoration.
This week, CBF student leaders will explore their environment, communities, and connection to clean water by hiking, fishing, boating, seining, and paddling in some of the most beautiful and inspiring natural areas in the Chesapeake watershed. They will meet with Bay leaders, conservation and restoration experts, scientists, watermen, farmers, elected officials, and a multitude of other specialists to learn more about the management practices impacting their watershed.
On Saturday, these student leaders will converge on CBF's headquarters in Annapolis to share what they have learned, to discover how they can make a difference, and to commit to protecting the environment in their home communities. Students will use their voices to speak for their generation and future generations to come. Please join us by following along on our social media channels (Facebook | Twitter | Instagram) as we celebrate our student leaders becoming the next generation of Bay champions.
