DIRECTIONS

Gangplank Marina
600 Water Street
Washington, D.C.

From Northern Virginia

  • Go North to the Key Bridge.
  • Turn RIGHT on Whitehurst Freeway.
  • Whitehurst Freeway turns into K Street.
  • Make a RIGHT onto 9th Street.
  • Stay in middle lane; follow signs for Maine Avenue.
  • Make a LEFT onto Water Street.
  • Gangplank Marina is at 600 Water Street.
  • The Potomac River Program staff will meet you in front of the restaurant in the marina. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation workboat is the Susquehanna.
From the Capital Beltway in Maryland
  • From I-95, take 295 North to the South Capitol Street exit, and stay in right lane.
  • At the first traffic light, make a LEFT onto M Street.
  • At 7th Street, make a LEFT and then another LEFT onto Water Street.
  • Gangplank Marina will be on the right (600 Water Street).
  • The Potomac River Program staff will meet you in front of the restaurant in the marina. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation workboat is the Susquehanna.
By Metro
  • Take the Green Line to Waterfront Station.
  • Turn right after leaving the exit on M Street.
  • Go 1 ? blocks over to Water Street.
  • Gangplank Marina will be on your left at 600 Water Street.
  • The Potomac River Program staff will meet you in front of the restaurant in the marina. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation workboat is the Susquehanna.
Alternate Site: Ft. Washington Marina
  • From D.C. Beltway
  • Exit onto 210 South (Indian Head Highway)
  • Take Right on Fort Washington Road
  • Take Left on Warburton Road
  • Follow Warburton all the way to the Fort Washington Marina
